Traditional Aleppo soap with 5% laurel oil. An inconspicuous soap with a fascinating history and unique effects on the skin.

Aleppo 100% natural soap is suitable for everyday use and for all skin types due to its extraordinary effects.
You can wash face , body , and intimate areas with it.
You can also use it for hair care , it helps with scalp diseases, including dandruff (we recommend supplementing with a natural conditioner with an acidic pH).

Golden brown on the surface, light to dark green on the inside , greasy to the touch, plus a specific earthy scent - this is what a fine soap from purely natural ingredients that Aleppo soap makers produces almost 4,000 years from olive and laurel oil.

Olive oil fists and softens . Laurel oil cleanses , heals and helps soothe problematic skin and skin conditions (acne, eczema, childhood sores). The higher the content of laurel oil in the soap, the stronger its beneficial effect.

However, in some cases, laurel oil can cause an allergic reaction.
Our soap with 5% laurel oil content is suitable for everyone who prefers very gentle and purely natural soaps. It's also ideal for the first try if you have skin problems and would like to use products with a higher content of this raw material.

Store soap in a dry place. If it stays moist for a long time, it will get wet and a gel will form on the surface.

How is the world's oldest soap actually made?

The raw materials and the process of making Aleppo soap remain the same for centuries. Olive and laurel oil, water and sodium hydroxide are first boiled in huge cauldrons, then the dark green soap solution is poured onto the floor of the drying chamber and allowed to solidify.
This is followed by manual cutting into neat cubes and six to nine months of air drying.

In Syria, this mildly foaming soap is also used in traditional spas , a tradition established by the Romans when the area became their province. The Crusaders brought knowledge about the production of Aleppo soap to Europe, where it was soon exported. In France, following his example, they developed the famous Marseille soap. But only the original ingredients and processing process give the Aleppo soap its unique emollient effects .
